Born 25 June 1932 in Salisbury, North Carolina; died August 2022 in Manhattan, aged 90. Spent about 22 years at Kidder, Peabody before founding Tiger in 1980 with about $8 million. Tiger peaked at about $22 billion in 1998 and Robertson closed it in 2000.
