Information, not advice

moatshark shows what investment managers have reported in their public SEC filings, along with figures we work out from them. It is general information for research and education. Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any investment, and it doesn’t take account of your circumstances. If you need advice, speak to a regulated financial adviser.

Accuracy

We load the data automatically from SEC EDGAR and other public sources, and we check it, but filings contain mistakes and so can our processing. Holdings are snapshots at each quarter end and are reported up to 45 days later (60 days for fund filings), so positions may have changed since. Amounts bought and sold, modelled returns, sectors and company names are our estimates. The site is provided “as is”, without any warranty that it is complete, accurate or up to date, and we aren’t liable for any loss from relying on it. Please check anything important against the original filing, which each page links to.

Who we are and aren’t

moatshark is independent. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any of the managers, funds, companies or people it covers. Names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.

Using the data

The underlying filings are public. You’re welcome to quote figures and link to pages, with credit to moatshark. Please don’t copy the site wholesale or scrape it in a way that puts load on it.

Links

We link to other websites, books and videos. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content. Some book links may in future be affiliate links, which would be marked.

Changes and contact
