Use moatshark in your AI assistant
Ask your own AI assistant about value investors’ holdings, and it answers from moatshark’s data, with links back to the pages and filings. moatshark runs a free, read-only connector using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), which Claude and a growing number of other assistants support.
The connector address

In Claude, add it as a custom connector (look for Connectors in Settings) and paste the address above. No sign-in is needed. Other assistants that support remote MCP servers work the same way; check their help pages for where to add one.
Things to ask
- “What did Berkshire Hathaway buy and sell last quarter, and has it bought anything since?”
- “Which value investors own Moody’s, and who added to it?”
- “What were the most bought stocks among value investors in Q1 2020?”
- “Are directors at any companies Fundsmith owns buying their own shares?”
- “Compare the top ten holdings of Akre and Polen.”
What it can see
- search: find managers and companies by name, person or ticker.
- get_manager: the latest 13F with changes, fund holdings outside the US, 5% stake filings and Form 4 purchases since the 13F.
- get_company: who holds a company, how that changed, directors’ dealings and basic company facts.
- latest_filings, quarter_roundup (every quarter since 2013) and insider_buying.
It’s the same public SEC data as the site, read-only, and it doesn’t see anything about you. Your assistant’s answers are its own: check important figures on the linked page or filing. Nothing here is investment advice.
