Tom Russo

Biography

Tom Russo joined the Lancaster, Pennsylvania firm then called Gardner Russo & Gardner as a partner in 1989; it now operates as Gardner Russo & Quinn, where he is managing member, and he also runs the Semper Vic Partners funds. He studied at Dartmouth College and earned a joint JD/MBA from Stanford. He is known as a long-term global value investor in family-influenced consumer brand companies such as Nestlé, Heineken and Berkshire Hathaway, favouring businesses able to reinvest heavily for growth even at the expense of near-term profits.
