Robert Vinall

Biography

Robert Vinall founded RV Capital in July 2006, shortly after his first visit to the Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting, having previously worked as an investment analyst. Its Business Owner Fund opened on 30 September 2008 with seed capital from the family of Norman Rentrop. He runs a concentrated portfolio, looking for growing competitive moats, attractive valuations and rational, engaged managers, ideally owners.
