Biography

Matthew Fine graduated in economics from Hamilton College and joined Third Avenue Management, the firm Martin Whitman founded in 1986, in 2000. He is portfolio manager of the Third Avenue Value Fund, a principal of the firm and a member of its management committee, and holds the CFA designation.
