Biography

Mason Morfit joined ValueAct Capital as an early investment analyst shortly after Jeff Ubben founded the firm. He became President in 2013, Chief Investment Officer in 2017 and Chief Executive in 2020, when Ubben stepped down. ValueAct runs a concentrated portfolio and works constructively with company boards, often taking seats. Morfit is a former director of Microsoft and has been on the Salesforce board since 2023.
