Chris Hohn

Biography

Chris Hohn studied at Southampton University and Harvard Business School, then worked at Apax Partners and Perry Capital, where he set up the London office and ran its European fund. He founded The Children's Investment Fund Management (TCI) in June 2003. TCI runs a highly concentrated, mostly long portfolio of high-quality companies with durable competitive advantages and predictable free cash flow, and uses activism where it judges this necessary. He co-founded and chairs the Children's Investment Fund Foundation, which TCI's fees have helped endow.
