Biography
Chris Davis joined Davis Selected Advisers in 1989 as a financial analyst after working at Tanaka Capital Management and State Street, and became a portfolio manager of the firm's flagship funds, including Davis New York Venture Fund and Selected American Shares, in 1995. He is Chairman of the firm, which was founded in 1969, and is a director of Berkshire Hathaway, The Coca-Cola Company and Graham Holdings. He holds an MA from the University of St Andrews.
