Glenn Welling

Biography

Glenn Welling was a partner at HOLT Value Associates and a managing director at Credit Suisse after it bought HOLT, then joined the activist fund Relational Investors in 2008 as a principal. He founded Engaged Capital in Newport Beach, California, in September 2012 with seed money from Grosvenor Capital Management. The firm takes concentrated stakes in undervalued small and mid-sized North American companies and works with boards to push for change; Welling has sat on several company boards, including Medifast, Jamba and Hain Celestial.
