Biography

Brad Hinton studied finance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, holds an MBA from Dartmouth and worked at ConAgra Foods before joining Weitz Investment Management as a research analyst in 2001. He became a portfolio manager in 2003, director of research in 2004 and co-chief investment officer in 2017, and has led the firm's large-cap value fund since 2006.
