Peter Lynch
Fidelity Magellan Fund, 1977–1990 · Profile
Historical: a partial record. These are holdings named in letters, filings or reports of the time, not a full portfolio.
Peter Lynch ran Fidelity's Magellan Fund from 1977 to 1990, turning about $20 million into $14 billion. He owned more than 1,000 stocks at a time and looked for growth he could see in shops and products before Wall Street noticed. His books made the case that ordinary investors can beat professionals by sticking to what they know.
